‘Sapere Aude’ is a latin phrase meaning

“dare to know” or “dare to be wise”.

The phrase originated in the first century BC

when used by the roman poet Horace;

it was later popularized by philosopher Immanuel Kant

in his writings on enlightenment.

“For we may not be as powerless as it may seem.

In our hearts, we hold both the bravery & the gentleness to truly live.”
